My friend Adam was talking about a contractor and said something like &ldquo;He&rsquo;ll be out of work soon. He&rsquo;s just a code-monkey&rdquo;. I&rsquo;m not quite sure what makes a code-monkey distinct from a non-code monkey in this future world. But I am now using AI regularly, and it reminds me of golf. Writing a prompt and missing a critical word can lead the word-prediction programme down into a bunker, and getting to your objective can take many more attempts than you thought.</p> <p>And there&rsquo;s a lot of waiting about.</p>
